Are you afraid of showing up for DEI work? Worry you’re going to say or do something wrong? You are not alone. However, competence is no longer the goal in DEI. Now, we focus on the humility it takes to admit that we may never know everything about the myriad of cultures in our world. And, we admit that we may get it wrong at times – and we learn through mentorship, modeling, and humility how to learn from our mistakes and reduce harm.

In this dynamic workshop, guest speaker Leslie Atley will provide helpful context and understanding for how to bring DEI work into our coaching skills and businesses.

What you'll learn

Upon completion of this program, the coach will be able to:

  1. Understand the basics of cultural humility
  2. Understand the importance of DEI work and its intersection with health coaching
  3. Demonstrate humility in the face of cultural difference
  4. Commit to the next small step in their DEIB journey
